So, it was Wednesday's first Christmas and the pressure was ON!  What was she going to wear????

 

Would I go classic Christmas plaid?-- adorable, but no.

Would I go classy black velvet?-- gorgeous, but not quite right.

Would I go elegant and dress her up in red satin? -- again, sounds fantastic, but... not it.

 

If only I could find an outfit for Wednesday Jones that looked like it was made by VERY fancy elves hyped up on candy canes!!!  But where was I to find such a look?

 

BINGO!  It's like a Christmas miracle...

Twas the Night Before Christmas...

 

Here are the kids all dressed and ready to go out to our traditional Christmas Eve dinner with Grammy, Pa and Gavin.  Since I was a child, we have always eaten out at a favorite restaurant on Christmas Eve.  Most people cook a big Christmas Eve dinner, but since we cook a huge Christmas breakfast and dinner, we take it a little easier on Christmas Eve.

  
 
 

 

New Year's Resolution- I'm Back!

Happy New Year (to whoever is still out there)! 

I've missed blogging so much and am thrilled to be back.  I have 2 New Year's resolutions and one of them is to blog again.  The other resolution goes with my blogging and that is to get more organized-- mentally and physically! 

Since I've been pregnant (and sick with gestational diabetes) my life and home have become SO out of control!  I don't think I've ever been this scatter brained and disorganized.  I think the main reason is that I sleep so much now.  I swear, I don't think I slept this much when I was a baby!  Anyway, I miss all those extra hours in my day (about 5), but anything to keep this baby safe and sound!

Well, that's about it for now.  I need to sleep, but I will post my heart out tomorrow!  Also, I'll let you know what this baby is and what it's name is!

#3- Christmas Gifty from Dan-

Cutest camera ever!  6MP too!  I have needed a "purse camera" forever.  I just can't lug my giant Cannon EOS 20D everywhere we go and so often I mutter to myself, "I wish I had my camera with me!"  Well, now I have a little camera that just sits in my purse all the time.  LOVE that!

Mammoth was a blast, as usual!  We were up there with Dan's parents and 2 of his brothers and their families.  9 kids, 8 adults and tons of fun!
