So, I'm a traditionalist... on the first day of school my children always bring their teachers a red juicy apple.
Well actually, it's always a galvanized bucket of apples... even cuter, huh? Their teachers always get such a kick out of the gift and it is the EASIEST gift EVER!

SO CUTE! I got an apple the first day of school from one of my students, and I loved it! I got a couple other gifts, too. I guess I didn't know first day gifts were traditional. But I'll take 'em! Scarlet's outfit is outstanding...especially the stripey socks! I wish I could get away with that! ;)

AH! I love it...how darling! Did you staple their shoes to their feet the night before...yes, that too will be the death of me. Why can't they just throw them in the basket...the basket that's by the door we come into from the garage. :o)
