Took a pic of Scarlet's shoes (OKAY, so I didn't actually have her try them on yet, but at least I am thinking about it! lol)
Update: We did the shoes! I'll take a pic later. For some reason we ended up playing Army. I was the sargent and I ordered her to put on each pair and she would salute me and say, "Sir, yes, Sir!" lol

Baskets for First Day of School Apples (last year I did these)
So I had three of these already, so instead of buying more I thought these might work. What do you think? I can't figure out if I like them more or less! lol Seriously.

Can I get an AMEN?
I tamed the shoes! It's SO nice to be able to reach into her shoes and grab any pair and they fit. I know this seems obvious to most, but I can't tell you how many times I've put a pair on and they're too tight and then I'm in such a hurry I throw them back in and the cycle continues! I'm lame.
Both are totally cute, but I do like the basket you're using this year even more than last year. Also, if I haven't mentioned, I really love your "to do list" format. It's fun to read!

I love both of them! The buckets were cute, but the baskets are adoreable too. I think they totally work.

Hey girl - I like the baskets you are using now better. I use the same ones for when we have company and fill them with Bath & Body Works Product. Love them!
Super cute layout with Scarlet. I love the bows that you make for her but it was also cute to see her without them. She's adorable :)

I was just going to say that I think those baskets could work forsure. WOuld you consider lining them with a cute piece of tissue paper, or just go plain?

I know I've said it a zillion times - but you amaze me at all you accomplish!! Layouts, sewing, projects galore and on and on!! AMAZING! :)

I've been a lurker on your blog for awhile now and just LOVE your ideas...I did the pancake basket for my friend's child's first day of school. They loved it. Fixed up apple baskets for all the teachers as well. Couldn't have been a better thing to give when a teacher isn't expecting anything but chaos that first day! Thanks for the great ideas...you're a storehouse of them!
