I had a blast making this banner this morning. I especially LOVED that I already had all the materials! Martha made one similar on her show and when I saw it, I knew I had to make one, but I turned mine into a Halloween banner instead.

So, I'm having my Halloween dinner party again! This time we are having 12 couples come... yikes! Last year I sent out these invitations. These are the invitations I sent out this year. They are little Altoid tins that I spray painted and then decorated. Inside is an accordian style pull out. Take a look!

The Greding's party...
The event of the year!
So leave your little ghouls behind,
And join us in your most wicked designs;
Be it witch or cowboy or a garden gnome,
Come dressed up or we'll send you home!
At half past seven you will dine
On eye of newt and blood of swine.
I will suggest you don't be late,
Last year the tardy ones we ate.
So if you're tempted to join the fun,
Be sure to call Nacho's nun!
Last year Dan was Nacho Libre and I was his nun, Encarnacion, so that explains the last line of the poem.

A symptom of losing my mind? I'm hosting a Halloween dinner at my house, in my backyard, 2 weeks from tonight, on Friday the 13th!
All I have to say to my lovely readers (all three of you) is prepare yourselves to be Halloweened out! From the decorations to the menu, I'm posting it all... yeah? Nay? We'll see...

Dan and I wrote the poem and I think it's kind of cute... We're no Emersons!
Okay, so what are those cute little jars? Starbuck's Frap jars! (Aahhhh... now the post title makes sense!) Super cute, huh? I don't even drink these, but I ADORE the little jars. They're filled with black and orange peanut M&Ms.
